Nestled in the alpine world of the Austrian Alps, Lech am Arlberg is situated in Vorarlberg, the western-most province of Austria. In summer, the Walser community is accessible from several sides, through the forested Bregenzerwald area via the B190, through the Tyrolean Lechtal via the B198 and via the S16 and Stuben. In winter, the road to Warth stays closed and access is only possible via the S16 and the B198 from Stuben.
